Terms and Conditions of Travel

Trip Cancellation for Travel Services Not Provided*  In the unlikely event that APR GROUP, INC. d/b/a Morocco Travel Adventures Group (“MTAG”) should cancel agreed travel services, or if a sub-contractor of MTAG does not provide agreed services to a traveler, and if the passenger is not at fault and has not canceled in violation of our terms & conditions, all sums the traveler has paid to us for travel services not provided to the traveler will be promptly refunded. (An exception is where the traveler otherwise advises us in writing to hold funds following the cancellation.  This provision also is inapplicable in cases where we have remitted payments to an unaffiliated travel wholesaler, including a common carrier, if we ourselves have not secured a refund from the carrier and/or where any unaffiliated wholesaler defaults in providing agreed-upon transportation or services). In this situation we must provide traveler with a written statement and bank records showing disbursement of payment to the defaulting unaffiliated party. Additionally, if funds have been disbursed to a wholesaler, we are obligated to provide proof to our traveler that the provider appears on public records to have been legally registered as a legal business entity at the time of our payment.

 

*Note:  No situation remotely close to that described in the paragraph above has ever arisen in APR GROUP, INC.’s 13 years of providing international travel services to our clients ever since APR’s inception in 2013.

 

Our Participation in California’s Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF)

 

  • If APR GROUP, INC. or Morocco Travel Adventures Group completes the sale of travel services within California, the transaction is covered by the TCRF. Travelers purchasing from outside California are not covered by the TCRF. If in California at the time of sale, eligible travelers may file a claim with TCRF if the traveler is owed a refund of more than $50 for the travel services we own or controlled which we failed to forward to a proper provider or such money was not refunded to our traveler when required.  The maximum amount which may be paid by TCRF to any one passenger is the total paid to ourselves, not to exceed $15,000.  A claim must be submitted to TCRF within 12 months after scheduled travel completion date.  A claim must include sufficient documentation to prove the traveler's claim and a $35 processing free.  Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of the sale for which a TCRF claim has been filed.  Travelers may request a claim form by writing to:  Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation, 13 Dean Way, Chico, CA 95926, info@tcrcinfo.org.

 

Protection of Travelers' Money

 

California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account. APR GROUP, Inc. maintains a Traveler Trust Account at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Corte Madera, CA 94925.

Morocco Travel Adventures Group (MTAG) and parent company APR GROUP, INC. are committed to our travelers' safety and security and we hold ourselves accountable to provide the promised services to the best of our ability.  We work promptly following travelers’ trip commitments to secure flights and infrastructure services, including lodging, vehicles, guides, drivers. and reservations at our best restaurant recommendations.

 

Trip cancellation and refund policy*

 

  • 360+ days prior to departure: 100% refund less initial deposit

  • 180 -359 days (6-12 months prior to departure: 90% refund (10% commitment fee)

  • 120 – 179 days (4-6 months) prior to trip departure: 75% refund

  • 60-119 days (2-4 months) prior to trip departure:  50% refund

  • 0-59 days:  no refund.  100% of trip cost is deemed earned
