MTAG MOROCCO Travel Terms and Conditions
​Background
MTAG Morocco is a division of APR GROUP, INC., a Nevada Corporation that for the past 13+ years is an award-winning international travel specialist now expanded from Cuba, encompassing high quality bespoke tours in Morocco.

Reservation Process
Cary and Manny Kopstein speak with each potential traveler in order to answer questions or concerns and to understand specific interests, budgets and travel goals. All experiences proposed are based on our personal weeks traveling all through Morocco. Once aligned, we work together with clients to book the trip that works for them, ending in a proposal for the most memorable Morocco journey consistent with reputation. Tour Payments
To secure your tour, deposits are required upon booking and are refundable if MTAG for any unforeseen, unprecedented reason cannot fulfill the tour. An invoice will outline all payment terms, conditions and cancellation policies. Final payments are due 90 days before departure. Payments made by wire transfer or check receive a discount; credit card payments are not eligible for discounts.

Tipping Policy
Basic group tips are included in the tour cost. MTAG encourages individual gratuities for guides, drivers, porters, and service personnel based on client satisfaction with services provided. A tipping guide is provided in pre-trip Traveler Information documents. Tipping is at each traveler’s discretion.

Traveler Information Documents
Approximately 90-120 days before departure, MTAG provides travel documents, including recommendations for reading and viewing, weather information, suggested packing list, suggested gifts and donations, travel tips, insurance recommendations, etc.

Insurance
We strongly recommend that travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including as desired CFAR ("Cancel for Any Reason") coverage from providers like Travelex, Travel Insure, or AIG/Travel Guard. APR GROUP, INC. and MTAG Morocco are not affiliated with any insurance provider.

Not Included
MTAG Morocco tours do not include airport departure taxes, entry visas, insurance, alcohol, individual gratuities, or personal purchases.

Security
Traveler safety is our top priority. Safety precautions are strictly followed, and actions will be taken as necessary to protect travelers, within MTAG's reasonable control.
Lodging
Our tours feature quality villas, riyads, and hotels chosen for their location and comfort. In some cases alternate lodging may be provided depending primarily on availability and price algorithms.

Solo Travelers
MTAG welcomes solo travelers, couples, families, and small groups. Single supplements apply for travelers desiring private rooms. None of MTAG's trips thus far are intended for large unaffiliated groups of travelers.

​Special Requests
Dietary requests are accommodated wherever possible based on our best efforts, to be confirmed prior to departure.

Meals
Daily breakfast is included with lodging, often buffet-style. Lunches and dinners are most often included, depending on travelers' requests. Most often travelers choose to take a break from touring to enjoy some meals independently. We can assist with reservations upon request.

Special Meals
MTAG will accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions wherever possible. Given the private nature of our tours, MTAG has flexibility to arrange special meals when notified in advance. Travelers with severe allergies are encouraged to take appropriate precautions, as perfect compliance cannot be guaranteed.

Baggage
Each traveler is recommended to bring one large, one carry-on bag and one personal item at most. We recommend checking airline baggage policies in advance to avoid additional airline fees.

Special Holidays
MTAG respects local customs, holidays and days of rest as applicable to each itinerary.
​
Transportation
MTAG travelers enjoy high-quality non-smoking sedans, luxury Mercedes vans, or luxury motor coaches. Regular stops will be made for restroom access. Additionally, flights or high-speed trains are often options for travelers needing to reduce long road hours to avail of at a small additional cost.

Passports
U.S. passport holders should ensure an expiration date at least six months beyond their departure date from Morocco, with a minimum of one blank page for visa stamps.
​
Visas
Currently, U.S. citizens do not require a visa to visit Morocco.
​
Health Requirements
MTAG tours involve walking, light to moderate hiking, and occasional stair climbing. Travelers should be in good health and consult with a physician if needed to confirm trip suitability.

COVID-19 Information and Waiver
COVID-19 presents risks in any public setting, particularly for those with underlying health conditions. By participating in MTAG Morocco tours, travelers voluntarily assume all risks related to COVID-19 exposure. Compliance with all applicable health protocols is expected, and costs associated with these requirements are not included in the tour cost. For current health guidelines, please contact us.

Payment and Refunds
Full payment is due 90 days before departure.

Cancellation Policy

75+ days before departure: Fully refundable less the initial deposit which can be applied to a future MTAG trip within two years.

45-74 days before departure: 50% refundable, less the initial deposit, which remains valid for future travel within two years.
-
45 days or less before departure: Non-refundable, though the initial deposit remains valid as a credit for two years.
Cancellation by Company due to Force Majeur Should MTAG be compelled to cancel a trip due to political instability, pandemic, or concerns for safety reasonably threatening to travelers' well-being, MTAG will make every effort to secure refunds, however, is unable to make guarantees. Credit card companies may offer protections for trip payments.

Airfare
For tours including airfare purchased by MTAG, tickets are non-refundable following the expiry of 24 hours after purchase. Tickets are issued in the name of each traveler and are owned by the traveler.

Responsibility and Disclaimer
MTAG acts solely as an agent in arranging accommodations, transportation, and other tour services. We assume no liability for injury, loss, or inconvenience arising from acts of third parties. MTAG reserves the right to modify itineraries and services as needed.

Exchange Rate
All tour prices are in U.S. Dollars. In the unlikely event of a significant change in the U.S. Dollar/Moroccan Dirham exchange rate leading to increased travel costs to the client, the client will have the option to decline to pay additional costs and cancel the trip to receive a full refund.

Cancellation for Travel Services Not Provided
If APR GROUP, INC. or Morocco Travel Adventures Group should cancel travel services and does not provide the agreed services to a traveler, if the passenger is not at fault and has not canceled in violation of our terms & conditions, all sums the traveler has paid to us for travel services that we did not provide will be promptly paid to the traveler unless traveler advises us in writing after cancellation. This provision does not apply where we have remitted payments to a separate and distinct travel wholesaler, including carrier and have not obtained a refund in cases where the separate wholesaler defaults in providing the agreed-upon transportation or services. In this situation we must provide traveler with a written statement and bank records showing disbursement of payment to the defaulting party, and if disbursed to a wholesaler provider proof that the provider is currently registered at the time of our payment.
Participation in Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF)
If APR GROUP, INC. or Morocco Travel Adventures Group completes the sale of travel services within California the transaction is covered by the TCRF. Travelers purchasing from outside California are not covered by the TCRF. If in California at the time of sale, eligible travelers may file a claim with TCRF if the traveler is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services we failed to provide. The maximum amount which may be paid by TCRF to any one traveler is the total paid to ourselves, not to exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted to TCRF within 12 months after the scheduled travel completion date and such claim must include sufficient documentation to prove the traveler's right to a refund and the $35 processing free. Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of the sale for which a TCRF claim has been filed. Protection of Travelers' Money
California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. This business has a trust account. Traveler funds are protected in the company's Traveler Trust Account separately maintained at Wells Fargo Bank, Corte Madera, California.
